Raze's Boom Bot can be used both defensively and offensively. Thankfully for your opponents, though, it can only be purchased once per round for 200 credits. ![]() And, if your enemy is able to shoot down the Bot before it detonates, it'll at least give you a good clue about where they are. Once it finds an opponent, it will lock onto them and chase them before exploding, causing an exorbitant amount of damage. Though the destructive Roomba can only deployed in a straight line, it can bump off of walls, sending it into different directions. By deploying it with C, Raze can send the little scout rolling out into battle to cause all kinds of carnage. However, it's worth noting that it can also do damage to Raze and her teammates.īoom Bot is Raze's perfect little robot friend. And there's no discounting its power, as it can kill enemies who aren't wearing any armor, making it a great tool to set the stage at the beginning of a match. Paint Shells also has a decent range and can detonate midair, causing its sub-munitions to rain down to the ground and doing damage to anyone below. On the battlefield, Raze's cluster grenade is perfect to throw at cornered opponents, as it can be a great way to flush them out into the open. Raze recieves one free Paint Shells each round and can obtain another after two kills in one round, so it's important to make them count. By hitting E, Raze can either throw the grenade into the distance (left click) or toss it underhand for closer combat (right click). Paint Shells doesn't only do damage, though: it also creates multiple sub-munitions after the first explosion, which can do even more damage to unwary enemies. Raze's signature ability, Paint Shells, lets her throw out a cluster grenade, which can pack a deadly punch to any nearby opponents. RELATED: VALORANT: A Complete Guide To Playing Sage 2. So, if you're running out of time and rushing a planting enemy, don't hesitate to throw one at them to distrupt them. ![]() Not only that, but as mentioned above, a Blast Pack can also move things that have been hit by it - including an enemy who's planting a spike. Blast Packs also don't do any damage to Raze and can be used to shoot her into the air with their momentum, which can be extremely helpful if you want to get the high ground and see some big crates laying about. Simply throw out a Blask Pack and get ready to jump into the action. Not only can they do damage to nearby enemies, but they can also be extremely helpful if you're surrounded and want to scare off an opponent or two. Though Blast Packs don't have much range, they can be great in close combat. To use a Blast Pack, simply throw it in any direction and either wait for it to detonate on its own or Re-Use it (by hitting Q), which detonate it, causing damage and moving anything that's been hit. Raze can obtain up to two Blast Packs per round, with each costing 200 credits. Raze's Blast Packs, which can be used by hitting Q in-game, are a great little tool to have on the battlefield - and can be used in a variety of different ways. Like all of the game's characters, Raze has three abilities that can be used in battle. Her abilities allow her to rush into the action and frag any opponents who get too close. For example, you can activate your x Showstopper, switch to e Paint Shells and throw that, jump in the air with a q Blast Pack, and then shoot your x Showstopper as long as its timer hasn't ran out.As a duelist, Raze's playstyle is a lot more competitive than some of VALORANT's other agents. Something to remember is that you can switch in between your guns and other abilities before the timers expire. Raze's x Showstopper and q Blast Pack pack both have timers as soon you activate them.Use this to kill enemies hiding behind boxes and other terrain. q Blast Pack can be used to boost c Boom Bot into the air. ![]() ![]() Keep this in mind since kills come very easy to Raze, you'll often have rounds where you can use two and even more e Paint Shells. Similar to Jett and Phoenix, Raze's e Paint Shells get refilled after contributing to two kills and/or assists. She has a surprising amount of mobility as she can use her q Blast Pack to jump and maneuver around the map. With an arsenal that includes cluster grenades, detonating packs, and even an exploding robot on wheels, she excels in sieging on offense and making enemies think twice about approaching on defense. Raze has the most damage abilities of all the Valorant agents, making her an ideal entry fragger.
